Today we would like to share 4 points of sightseeing that the tourists get indulged to visit when they come here.
- First and foremost the “Dalai Lama Temple”. Dalai lama temple welcomes everyone to experience the tibetan culture and is located right at the end of the market which sets the tone for a pictures experience.
- Bhagsu waterfall …. The Bhagsu waterfall has been the talking point and top recommended point for the young tourists as one has to trek for1km to reach the falls. The falls has always been busy and is a memorable experience .
- Bhagsu temple – Himachal as a whole is called the “land of “temples” , we too are blessed when it comes to temple’s . The temple of Lord Shiva in Bhagsu presents a perfect “experience” after the refreshing waterfalls.
- St. John’s church – As we have shared in the previous posts the “history” and the value that this church adds to our hills station. St. John’s church is no short of beauty and character. Even “bollywood” has found this church “epic” and have shot for bollywood’ recent – “Mary kom” in the St. john’s church in the wilderness.
- Norbulingka Institute – The institute is located around 16Km from “Mcleodganj Homestay” The place is one of the best to visit when comes art . Norbulingka is very beautiful and is very famous for the highlighting “Thangka” paintings.
- Naddi – Lastly “Naddi” which is a marvellous sunset point. Naddi “sunset” point is right where the road ends. On one hand one sees the “sunset” and on the “other” one can see a broad view of the snowcapped mountains
